Athena Zecha is a Singaporean-American actress, singer, dancer, model and choreographer based in Los Angeles, California. Her journey began with taking up dancing at the age of three. She was a student of Dance Arts Singapore for 8 years, and an active member of both the Dance and Theatre honor programs/ societies at the Singapore American School. She performed her way through middle and high school, and then moved to Los Angeles in 2015. She later graduated from Whittier College with a B.A. in Theatre and Communications Arts.


She has appeared and starred in the productions of “Sweet Charity”, “Return to the Forbidden Planet”, “Eat, Play, Love”, “Eurydice” and “Pippin”.


As the choreographer for Whittier College’s 2019 production of “Pippin”, she became the recipient of the “Meritorious Achievement Award for Choreography” from the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival Region 8. For her extensive work in the college’s theatre program, she was also inducted into the Alpha Psi Omega National Theatre Honor Society.


Athena is multi-lingual. Fluent in English, she is also proficient in Malay (Bahasa Melayu), Mandarin, and Spanish. At the start of the pandemic, she began (and continues to learn) French, German and Italian.


Also possessing a variety of skills and hobbies, she likes to go horseback riding (English saddle), do yoga, high-intensity interval training, scuba diving, boxing, hiking, swimming (previously competitive), riflery, and archery.
